If you are wondering why we've created the functionality now, the reason as follows:

We had talked about doing this for the CrossLeft community for months. In fact we had the idea from the moment we 1st launched in March of '05, but we were so focused on the other pieces involved with building this community that we did not get around to building this part of the functionality until this year.

So, now it's finally up.
