There is a federal bill now in Congress to establish a cabinet-level
Department of Peace through citizen education, grassroots activism, and
spiritual commitment. Domestically the Department would have authority to
address drug and gang violence, school bullying, prison reform and domestic
abuse.

In this workshop, we will be coached on:
How to clearly communicate our commitment to peace to our Congressional
Representatives.
What the process is for getting the DOP bill passed.
Defining a personal contribution in making an active vote for peace.
