The Declaration of Peace Week of Nonviolent Action

We have more power than we think. Together, we can build on all the work of the anti-war movement to call on our society, our policy-makers and each other to break the impasse in Iraq. Between now and the Declaration deadline of September 21, we can join in many efforts designed to create support for an end to the war, including ongoing outreach to members of Congress as the fall elections approach. Most of all, we invite you to take part in the September 21-28 actions in your local Congressional offices – and consider participating in nonviolent action in Washington, DC.
