CrossLeft in San Antonio, TX

I write this note from the floor of my new pad in San Antonio, Texas.

(My belongings are still en route.)

It's official-- CrossLeft now has a home in San Antonio.

Inspired by the note posted about Upstate, NY (thank you!) I'm going to declare-- without knowing exactly how it is going to come about-- that we will have a get together for Progressive Christians in this part of the world soon.

To hold me accountable, I'm going to set a date.

This will happen before my birthday, October 19th.

I just moved here so if you have a friend or two that may want to help me organize a CrossLeft get together send them my way! We have a bit of leg work to do.

There are so many things that I still have in progress, left incomplete from my move; but I am committed to this work & what better way to live that commitment than getting together others of like mind to drive this change.

A friend recently reminded me that our commitments are nothing without action; & life happening is not an excuse.

That's the only way that we're going to cause the change that we want to see happen in the world.
