UCLA Law professor Khaled Abou El Fadl to appear at Grace Cathedral
Khaled Abou El Fadl: A Moderate Voice for Islam
Is there a tolerant and inclusive practice of Islam? Dr. Khaled Abou El Fadl believes there is. In his latest book, The Great Theft: Wrestling Islam from the Extremists, he discusses the middle ground of a religion that is seen as polarizing by many. An advisory board member for Human Rights Watch and on the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, Dr. Abou El Fadl will get to the heart of the issue of human rights, and how Muslims can prevent the perception that their faith is being hijacked by fundamentalists.
