What more can this guy do?

In Response to recent comments about Alan Colmes, I feel I must now ask of you all, what more must this guy do? All we liberals seem to be doing is constantly criticizing him. He's pro choice, pro gay rights, pro gun control and always defends global warming and Al gore against Sean Hannity's constant attacks. Sure the guy's made mistakes (defending Trent Lott, for example.) but haven't we all? What isn't liberal about this guy?

Colmes isn't liked by a lot of lefties becasue he works for Fox and is usually bested by Hannity.(He gets much less air time than Hannity) He has a talk radio show at 10PM on Fox Talk Radio that is really pretty good.

The issue with Colmes is that he is the stooge for Fox conservatives. He's more of allows himself to be a prop, rather than trying to reframe issues in a way that he might actually win some arguments.
i'm not against people going on Fox and fighting the good fight, but we ought to make sure we can present a position fairly.

Maybe what we need to do is contact Alan and INVITE Crossleft onto the show?
I imagine the poor guy would LOVE a little help from the political left and progressive Christians, who are on the rise.
And, isn't the FOX mantra: 'fair and balanced'?
Seems to me, what progressive Christians need to do, is ENGAGE the right in a conversation.
Any ideas how to contact Alan? Does he have a call-in deal?
I personally emailed Hannity a few times via his web page,
But NEVER received a response.

I am with you
I do not watch FOX, but from what I know, we progressives will NOT change a thing by bashing another liberal or progressive.
The right is known for being anti, against, negative, critical, judgemental, arrogant and pompous.
If we progressives do not offer HOPE, LOVE, CHARITY, COMPASSION, VISION, INCLUSIVENESS, we are deluding ourselves to think we will change anything.
Naomi Wolf was the keynote speaker at the IPC Conference last Novemeber and she warned us NOT to fall into the same trap as the right.
