Finding an absolute sense of joy that God is good in the midst of a difficult and imperfect world, June and Tansy will interweave the power of meditation and movement in an incarnational way. More and more, science and spirit are merging into an integrative whole, reminding each of us to pay attention not only to our souls but our very beings as a whole.

Open to everyone who already enjoys movement and especially those who have never danced before, who feel too old, not experienced or even inhibited.  This mid summer workshop is an invitation to enjoy the beauty of Kirkridge, and refresh our souls and bodies in a gentle and loving way.

We are delighted that Walter Wink, Biblical Scholar, writer, and long time leader of workshops at Kirkridge will be joining Tansy and June with a presentation on the "Human Face of God."  Time to digest and process this material will be offered.  Walter will be present for the entire workshop.

June Keener Wink has co-lead workshops all over the world with her husband Walter Wink, and independently continues to lead groups in body movement and art activities.  She offers a unique approach to the integration of body, mind and spirit.

           

CHAPMAN

Tansy Chapman is an Episcopal priest, and experienced retreat leader and spiritual director.  She recently retired from her work at the Bethany House of Prayer in Arlington, and has moved to beautiful Mendocino in California.
