Disappointing John

I am Disappointed with John Edwards
I wasn’t a Hillary or an Obama supporter in the primaries, I was an Edwards Democrat. I liked his populist message, his humble roots, and his concern for the poor.
So when I heard he had an affair in 2006 and still ran for the nomination, I was angry and disappointed. Other people’s sex lives are not my concern. Getting a progressive elected President is my concern.
John Edwards is a political player who knows the score. He knows that if his extra marital affair were to be exposed, Democratic chances for the presidency would be dead. All I can ask is how could he jeopardize the Democrats chances like that and precede with trying for the nomination knowing that he his sexual misadventure could put the Republicans back in the white House for 4 years?
Running for President, with an affair in his closet, and his wife diagnosed with cancer, was so foolish, that it is an intelligent guess that Edward’s political career is over. I think its back to the law for handsome John.
