IRATE (Interfaith Refugee Action Team Elizabeth)

is already circulating a petition on this issue. After the first NY Times article about the death Boubacar Bah they held a press conference with Senator Menendez in front of the Elizabeth Detention Center.

The effort is also being coordinated by Episcopal Immigration Network, Lutheran Office of Governmental Ministry in New Jersey; New Jersey Association of the United Church of Christ; and the Peace and Justice Committee of the Unitarian Society of Ridgewood.
