She did it!
She did all they asked. Gracious, tough, inspiring, she gave her supporters no waffle room, no real reason to hold back, to leave and support McCain.
Now it's up to him. I can't wait to hear Biden slam into McCain tomorrow night. To quote ole Harry "Give 'em Hell, Joe". Time for some "red meat". Let Joe do the slammin' and Barack do the inspiring. Bad cop, good cop sort of thing.
One note of concern. What's the Big Idea, the unifying theme(beyond just hope)? Hope w/o substance, a unifying theme will, IMO, lead to deep disappointment. What's Obama's "New Deal", his "New Society"?
I agree- Hillary was phenomenal
I wish we would have seen more of this during the primaries. She was selfless, commited and straight, consistantly. Perhaps this is not the last we see of her. :-)
Kety, what's the view from the scene?
Kety, have you had the opportunity to speak to any of the die hard Hillaryittes? I'd love to hear from the scene what you see as their reaction to her speech. If you do have the chance, what are you going to say to them?
And what is happening re: your potential interview w/ Ray Suarez?
I can just bet you're havin' a real ball there. You are a 1st hand witness to another great moment in American history.

I haven't spoken to any die hard Hillaryiettes as of yet. I think most of the people here are going to be uniting around the Democrat's ticket.
The interview with Ray Suarez went great. I'll be posting it here in a bit.

Hillary was amazing, impressive, (insert other superlative here). She was absolutely phenomenonal. I have been one of her toughest critics and I have not appreciated some of the nastiness in the campaign. Tonight though she hit the ball out of the park. I think she united the party together tonight in a way that only she could. Thank you Hillary.
