A balanced voice....

One thing that the CrossLeft community has done in the past is to respond to comments made by the Christian 'right'. One example was writing a letter to the creators of the "Bushfish" telling them how other Christians perceive the connection of Bush to such a precious/strong Christian icon. (Personally I thought it was very amusing :)

Things like this occur all the time. i.e. the responses to hurricane Katrina etc...

Now we could continue to write letters or respond to such comments in our Blogs...

Or we might like to have a section on the CrossLeft website that officially responds to comments said by the 'right' (particularly comments made in the media). Perhaps even provide a space under the official comment for people to personally respond....?

I could see many potential benefits for creating a space like this. It could even evolve into a formal porthole where the media goes to find that balanced Christian voice.
