Thank you Kathy. A question.

Kathy,
I viewed the segment. It provides me with a much deeper understanding of the internal crisis the Roman Catholic community faces. Thank you for providing it. It will be very helpful as I engage in the MoveOn calls I make.

I suspect that the Ceasar issues, like the economy, with it's pro-life aspects, such as affordable health care for the pregnant mother, the newly born babies, and their grandparents, in their declining years, will weigh heavily in their decision. Putting food on the table, heating their homes, filling their gas tank (if they even have a vehicle to drive), sending their kids to college and providing for their own last years, all after birth issues, will strongly influence their vote.

I was prompted to review all of your posts. Excellent information on the Pax Christi. I would invite you to join the Theology Panel discussions. It is just such questions as you raise, such actions as you take, that inspired me to create the panel. Sharing your Roman Catholic background, your obvious struggles, would add much to our discussions. With Rev. Roger's leadership I know the panel will delve more deeply into the questions we now all face, gain inspiration from one another and help us decide how to respond.

I'd like to hear how your community faces the your issues such as Rev. Roger's community in the Alabama region faces theirs. Hearing how two very active progressives community's on the ground, in the forefront, listening and acting on Christ's call, inspires me to look at how I respond. The insight's both of you offer are of great value to this on-line community. Please do consider joining us on the next call.

A question for you, as an RC. How do you respond to your fellow parishioners when they ask, as some have of Father Joe, "Can I vote for a pro-abortion candidate? Does it endanger my soul?" How do you answer the question for yourself?
