Book of the Month

I feel like Dispatches got lost in the shuffle of the election and the economic crisis. We have a number of touchpoints though within the book, including featured blogger and IPC board member, Frank Cocozzelli, crossleft founder and IPC board member, Kety Esquivel, and IPC advisor Rev. Sekou who all wrote for the book. Of course, editor Fred, Clarkso ins a friend of the organization. I hope each of them takes a bit of time to talk about their sections of the book here.

"Left Hand of God" isn't a quick read, is it? I found myself taking in one page at a time, one paragraph at a time, and sometimes one sentence at a time, in order to adequately comprehend it. It is a classic.
What do you think so far ?
No it is definitely not a quick read. It turns you upside down and shakes the hell out of you. His Jewish understanding of the Old Testament is really an eye opener. I'm almost finished.
I got it and will read it as soon as I finish The Left Hand of God.
