Outstanding.
FYI, Operation FREE understands the immigration reform issue from a national security perspective. It would be great to talk to you, or someone online here, about how to integrate messaging.
Thanks again for all you do.
thank you Administrator and Tyler
Thank you Administrator and Tyler. I didn't think of the immigration reform issue from a national security perspective, but it's a good perspective.
I think it's important to get a national debate going again on immigration reform, to bring the different perspectives and concerns and to try to deal with this issue. In the lecture on Catholic social teaching and immigration, it was noted that two classes of Americans are forming: one that enjoys the full rights of citizenship; and a separate class that is exploited for its cheap labor, then denied basic rights or means of redress. How do we deal compassionately with illegal immigrants while keeping to mind the concerns of Arizonans?
I read somewhere that the history of American progressivism is the attempt to get America to live up to its highest values. I think the illegal immigration debate is along those same lines.

Great list.
I've been mulling personal policy and the best I can come up with is "business cards" offering hospitality and assistance with caveats about limited capacity. Is this an invitation to disaster?
not a disaster
I don't think this would be an invitation to disaster, especially if you put some language on the card about calling ahead to make sure the resources needed would be available.
