I will miss...

February 4-5 promises to be an exciting time as Progressive Christian Leader’s gather from around the US to discuss their vision of Christianity and strategically plan to balance the Christian voice within the Union.

There is however, one big problem (at least from my perspective) I will not be there :(

I will miss the excitement, the passion, and the creativity that is born when a committed group of like-minded individuals gather under a shared vision.

I will miss that feeling of camaraderie, of being in the trenches with my fellow Progressive Christians. Feelings that lead to lasting special relationships that change lives and the world.

I will miss out on a working meeting. Not a conference where we passively receive information but a place where my voice and contribution is heard and respected. An opportunity for action!

So to all those who are attending the Leadership Summit I’m jealous :)

What you have before you at the Summit is a unique and exciting opportunity. I wish I could be there to meet you and share our dreams together. Alas I’m restricted to this Blog entry. My thoughts and prayers go with you. I’ll be expecting nothing less that history to be made.

Ps. Remember that Progressive are neither right nor wrong. Rather it is the symphony that all our individual contributions combine to produce that shows us truth.
