Last week in the Al Bureij refugee camp, in central Gaza, a USA made Caterpillar bulldozer was the weapon that brutally murdered 19 year old Mahmoud Khafafi. Bulldozers and tanks entered Mahmoud's farmland village at dawn and uprooted olive trees, razed the land and demolished thirteen homes. Young Palestinians threw stones at the tanks, which began shooting in return. The victim ran behind an olive tree and when the bulldozer began to uproot the tree, Mahmoud was shot in the neck, yet attempted to flee until the blade cut his head off and his brains spilled out. According to a UN report, Haaretz columnist Danny Rubinstein admitted that "Israel today was an apartheid State with four different Palestinian groups: those in Gaza, East Jerusalem, the West Bank and Israeli Palestinians, each of which had a different status...even if the wall followed strictly the line of the pre-1967 border, it would still not be justified. The two peoples needed cooperation rather than walls because they must be neighbors." [1]

A funny thing happened to me on my way from Tel Aviv to New York a couple months ago. I was sitting in my aisle seat reading a book, when all of a sudden I became aware of the tall figure of a man looming over me.

As a member of the TIKKUN [Hebrew for heal, mend and transform the world] community of supporters, I was encouraged to learn its founder and visionary Rabbi Lerner has visited this site.

I Support The Impeachment of Vice President Cheney

I returned from my 5th journey to Israel Palestine on July 29, 2007.
All of the indigenous Christians I spoke with cannot understand the apathy of American Christians to their EXODUS. I told them the USA government and media do not report the truth and so they are clueless. I hope this article may WAKE them UP!

[Jerusalem, 14, July 2007] On my first afternoon of my fifth trip to Israel Palestine, I headed down Nablus Road to the Old City of Jerusalem. The stairway down through the Damascus Gate was packed with street vendors hawking cheap goods from China. It was shoulder to shoulder people until I arrived at the Via Delorosa; legendary route that Jesus walked while carrying a wooden cross. Only a few tourists were about, but I saw many more Israeli soldiers than the last time I was here in November 2006.
